I don't understand why @Wimbledon persist on a 1.30pm start on centre when they know they must stop play by 11pm.

I don’t normally retweet swearing but Mehdi is right to be exasperated. Harold Wilson won 3 majorities for Labour (one, in 1966, was a landslide), but Starmer has airbrushed him out of history.
Furthermore, in Starmer’s ‘great’ victory in 2024, Labour’s share of the vote was 6.3% lower than the share Corbyn got in 2017! Starmer was never very popular with the electorate even when he won the GE which he did because of the split opposition vote.
