Have you had any contact from your kids recently? If so what has it been like? Do you feel like any contact you get from them now is a baiting tactic from their mother / father?
Need more updates on how your child is doing? Need to to get this info without attacks on your character from your X? Because I can help. A flow of court filings claiming abuse and more child support and receipts with no context?... #ATM parents, I can help there's a way
The world is full of Narc alienators in hiding, lurking to emotionally abuse you through the children you have with them. You as the honest empath may soon be seen as the enemy. Be careful, watch out. Run.
@SandraN24688831 Absolutely agree! When a child hears things like this from the other parent they believe it because it comes from someone they trust. Then the tirade continues PA is child abuse. It needs to stop. Stop laying down with Narcs and reproducing - if you see red flags run. Fast!
At what age did you notice your child start to avoid contact with you and treat you with pure contempt? Where there any signs of alienation you wish you knew to look for sooner?

I have noticed that as soon as the oldest left home and went to college she then started to open up and reach out to me, we now have a much closer bond. I can see she is now thinking for herself, I can't wait for my youngest to experience that same freedom.
What are the biggest hurdles you have found when it comes to trying to Co-parent with your toxic X? What advice would you all like that would really help you out?
Or if they suddenly book in a trip that's at the exact time you go to see your child that just happens to be much more extravagant than what you had planned.
All of these are danger zone signs of alienation.
Alt if your co-parent tries to cut your parenting time by saying to your child: 'If your dad makes you feel uncomfortable just call me and I'll get you away'. This is also a clear early sign.
If your co-parent constantly tries to mediate your contact between you and your child that is not a good sign. So '*** told me to tell you that she does not want to see you this weekend because she does not feel comfortable'.
Remember that their ability to use critical thinking is being severely undermined. They are in the middle of a loyalty conflict and will unfortunately feel the emotional wrath of the toxic parent if they do not follow their wishes.
Use 'I-messages' to help open up communication between you and your child. So 'I feel happy when we spend time together, it makes me feel warm inside when you give me a hug, I would like us to spend more moments together like this'
