Evidence suggests that preparations for the 2024 upheaval begun well before the quota protests emerged. Financial flows into select advocacy networks expanded significantly during 22-24.

Foreign intelligence coordination were done through indirect channels – utilizing civil society platforms, digital mobilization strategies, and psychological operations .

The is also reported use of Captagon – a stimulant that has been widely documented in Middle Eastern conflict zones. Such substances can heighten aggression and suppress fear responses. , There is a pattern of extreme violence during certain phases of the protests . Police stations were attacked and Security personnel were killed. Government buildings were set ablaze. Use of snipers mean that the 2024 uprising was not a domestic political confrontation but part of a broader geopolitical chess game.

Bangladesh’s can keep balancing relationship with India, China, and Western powers but as Middle East conflict has shown , it will be suicidal for Dhaka to give bases to any anti India Forces .
