I'd rather hear Duff's shitty punk vocals, doing the hits. I laughed my ass off when I heard Vince Neil singing better than Axl recently. OMFG. 🤭🤭🤭
The economy of nostalgia acts is way over-valued. As all bubbles, it'll pop when ppl get some taste.

"Drive" is from the album Heartbeat City (1984), the album that brought The Cars to commercial peak in the new wave era. Unlike almost everything The Cars did, Ric Ocasek (who usually sings the main tracks) left the lead vocal for bassist Benjamin Orr, who delivered a soft, almost whispered and extremely emotional performance.
Released as the third single, it became The Cars' biggest hit in the US: #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks. Benjamin Orr sang the track alone on the stage of Live Aid (1985) and, tragically, it was one of his last major recordings with the band, he passed away in 2000.
Twenty years ago today, David Gilmour played the first of three shows at London's Royal Albert Hall, with a very special guest appearance for Comfortably Numb from David Bowie, in what sadly turned out to be Bowie's final ever appearance on a UK stage.
On Sunday at 5pm BST / 12noon ET / 6pm CET, the entire show, released as Remember That Night, will premiere on David's YouTube (where you can watch the full performance of Comfortably Numb now).

@FarOutMag Don’t feel sorry for him. The monthly royalties just from “In The Air Tonight” far exceeds anything the Talking Heads are getting for their entire catalogue. Honestly I’d choose Phil Collins’s career arch over David Byrne any-day.
Brian Johnson & Mark Knopfler stopping to watch a street musician absolutely nail the solos to “Sultans of Swing” and “Thunderstruck.”
Not many people can say they’ve played in front of those two legends.
This kid will remember this day for the rest of his life.
