🚩🚩WTF is wrong with the BBC⁉️

Captain Machchhar IS a hero. His bravery helped save 180 innocents from terror. Disgusting that @BBC @BBCWorld would suggest otherwise.

[Russia Airforce @RussiaForceStan]

Thanks from Russia and the entire world to the Indian pilot.

Let the world remember this: Islam is not trustworthy. An attempt was made to hijack an Israeli flight, and a major disaster was narrowly avoided.

Thank you, India, for giving the world a brave son.

Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar, who was stabbed by his co-pilot during the mid-air cockpit attack, is being airlifted to Abu Dhabi for further treatment

[Sanjeev Sanyal @sanjeevsanyal]

Why the ‘hero’ …. Is it a matter of interpretation?

[Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו @netanyahu]

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.

Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.

He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.

I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.

He is a true hero.

[Himanta Biswa Sarma @himantabiswa]

I salute his indomitable spirit. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health.

Government of Gujarat announces that Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar will be honoured with the 'Visisht Gujarat Garima Award'

[Sidhant Sibal @sidhant]

Indian PM Modi says Indian Pilot Smit Machchhar prevented another 9/11, he makes us "proud"; He demonstrated remarkable "patience, presence of mind, and courage" in the Fly Dubai incident; & India "prays" for him.

[Sanjeev Sanyal @sanjeevsanyal]

It was a minor philosophical disagreement about how to fly the plane. NYT now confirms that it has been satisfactorily resolved after some passengers mediated between them.
