John Ternus has officially become the new CEO of Apple, succeeding Tim Cook after his 15-year tenure.

Ternus, who previously served as Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, has helped oversee the development of major products including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and AirPods. Cook will remain with the company as executive chairman.
