@ODORTE One District one Factory in Ghana.... Sorry, just occured to me it's a charade. We are still struggling to stabilize our currency against major trading currencies due to the import driven nature of our economy... What a shame......

Living with problems isn't easy-it is more stressful than finding solutions...probably living with problems is just a habit of most people who go into politics in Africa...otherwise what else can explain why they promise solutions but always find excuses for what they fail to do?
The value is not in the price-it is in how much the owner cherishes it and how much those who want to acquire it need it...so unless we can raise the value of what we possess in the minds of those who desire it, they will continue to take our priceless possessions for a pittance.
Many African politicians promise development and then seek "development partners" outside Africa to finance it....since a partnership comprises at least two sides and the other side is the "development partner", are the African political parties just "elections winning partners"?

Confident leaders admit mistakes; very confident leaders accept full responsibility for failures, they immediately make amends and rally the team towards the goal...leaders with hidden complexes lose the confidence of followers because they keep denying what is already obvious.
Miracles come in types-spiritual ones; economic transformation ones like Singapore and China...then the numerous "reverse miracles" of Africa...where, for over 60 years, leaders have succeeded in transforming very resource-rich countries into poor beggar nations...miraculous!!!
For decades ago, many African countries implemented "ease of doing business" measures using borrowed funds...today, many are broke and, to pay the debt, they have to impose new taxes on businesses....it is as if Africa is now implementing the "ease of killing businesses" version.
Economies thrive when businesses expand and generate employment...so when engineers, doctors, lawyers and business persons start rushing into politics, they are not going there to grow the economy...it simply means politics has become more profitable than private enterprise. Yep!
Whilst businesses around the globe are reporting first-quarter profits, many in Africa are battling higher taxes making them poorer...and those who must create wealth have rather focused all energies on "debt sustainability" plans...well-crafted strategies for prolonging poverty.
