We are happy to announce that the thirty-seventh meeting of the Bonn Agreement Contracting Parties held last week in Madrid adopted the new Bonn Agreement Strategy BAS 2025-2035 and its Implementation Plan.

The Bonn Agreement met in London this week to develop a successor to the Bonn Agreement Strategic Action Plan 2019 – 2025 to achieve the vision of "A clean Greater North Sea without accidental and illegal pollution from shipping and other maritime activities."

Car Carrier Freemantle Highway is still on fire ca. 17 km north of Terschelling island. The tug Fairplay 30 has a connection to the drifting vessel while salvage vessels and oilspill recovery vessels are on standby.

The playback video of the Fremantle Highway shows the vehicle carrier changing course in the early hours of Wednesday while heading from Germany to Egypt. AIS data shows 6 tugboats assisting in towing the vessel out of shipping lanes due to a fire that broke out on the vessel.
