⚔️Franchise Development:

✅Assassin’s Creed franchise as a whole isn’t moving to a new engine

✅Will be using a substantial evolution of the current one named the ‘Anvil Pipeline’

✅Anvil Pipeline allows all Assassin’s Creed studios to work from one unified branch

✅Assassin’s Creed will benefit visually from the lines of ray-traced global illumination and virtual geometry, with better graphics than ever

✅Teams completely overhauled everything in the series, including animations, parkour, dynamic weather, and more.

✅Assassin’s Creed Red will be the first of a gigantic leap the whole franchise is taking

✅Codename Red will be the last of the fantasy/RPG formula introduced in Origins

🎮Gameplay:

✅Combat in Codename Red is similar to Valhalla, but with more gore, including blood, and decapitations

✅Stealth plays a major role in Red, akin to Splinter Cell

✅Players extinguish torches to hide their shadow, hide bodies in tall grass, sneaks through bushes, go prone..etc

✅Major evolution to the settlement system from Valhalla

✅Players build their settlement in a big way named the ‘Hideout’

✅Hideout allows players to build, at their own will, the likes of an armory, dojo, alter, and more

✅Hideout buildings are customizable, too, from picking building location, to choosing roof design, the interior layout and display your weapons and armor

✅Fewer map markers, which encourages players to explore

✅The map is than that of Valhalla, but smaller than Odyssey

✅Utilize grappling hook tools, similar to Sekiro & Ghost of Tsushima

✅Choose different stances

✅NPCs defend themselves

✅Recruit enemies as spies

✅Yasuke is adept at sumo wrestling

✅Naoe wields kunai, shuriken, smoke bombs, and bells, likely suggesting she’ll be a much more agile, stealthier character than

📜Story/Characters:

✅Featuring 2 leads

✅Male lead is based on the real-life African samurai Yasuke

✅His story rewritten to align with the game’s story and direction

✅Yasuke was a slave traveling on a slave ship when it was attacked and everyone was killed, including his lover, but he survived

✅Yasuke was then rescued and brought to Japan, where he learned the way of the samurai under Nobunaga’s service

✅Female lead is Naoe Fujibayashi, daughter of the legendary real-life Fujibayashi Nagato, considered to be one of the three greatest Iga jōnin

✅Naoe is a shinobi

✅Both characters’ stories start with a personal tragedy

✅At the beginning of the game, Naoe and Yasuke are fierce enemies, but later become allies on their desire for Japan’s unification
