“Shoo Turkey” is a fun song/game with movement and instruments. Needless to say, it’s a favourite among all students at this time of year.

Students have been learning a new song called “Máhsi ts’enįwę” which is a Children’s counting song in the Dene Kede language. This song is written by Juno winner @leelagilday and her cousin Gloria Gaudet. Here is a quick sample of Grade 4 students singing along today in class.
