Dhafu’s claims do not add up.

See, a few weeks ago, Zimra recognized the top tax paying companies in Zimbabwe and named them as follows:

The 2025 turnover, and profit before tax for these top tax paying companies is as follows, respectively;

Based on these data points of Top tax paying firms released by Zimra, it stands to reason that if Dhafu legitimately made enough to donate $100 million, he would be one of the top taxpayers in the country. (Remember you donate from profits, not revenues).

This is a request to ZRP officers and the City of Harare officials. When they come across street kids or homeless people carrying bags, they should search them.

Yesterday, as I was leaving Farm & City, I noticed a homeless man removing the wheel covers from my car. I chased after him, caught him and searched his bag. I found several different wheel covers that appeared to have been stolen.

He also had side-view mirrors and car badges from different vehicles, including Toyota and Nissan, as well as some wigs.

Police have launched a manhunt for 27-year-old Keith Nyasha Sibanda from Mahatshula North, Bulawayo, who is accused of running a vehicle-hire scam.

Between June 2025 and July 2026, Sibanda allegedly approached vehicle owners and hired their cars for short periods. He would then gain their trust and extend the hire agreements.

Police allege that he later sold the vehicles or used them as security to obtain loans from other people.

Complainants lost a total of 16 motor vehicles all valued at US$161 500 and a total of 13 motor vehicles have since been recovered.

Anyone with information that could help locate Sibanda is urged to report to the nearest police station.

Hello Crime Watch.

Yesterday, I realised that Zimbabwe is becoming a crime scene by the day. I was travelling in a kombi from Whitehouse when we witnessed a robbery at Energy Park Fuel Station, just after the Kuwadzana Extension turn-off.

The incident happened shortly after 6pm. There were about three masked robbers who were pushing and shoving the fuel attendants at the pumps. One of the suspects was holding what looked like a pistol.

We contacted the police, although I do not know whether the suspects were eventually apprehended.

This is just a warning to fuel station owners and attendants to be extra careful, as such robberies appear to be becoming a serious concern.

Can you please bring attention to an issue happening at the CBZ Masvingo branch?

It is surprising that the branch is refusing to accept ZiG banknotes for school fees payments. Parents are being told to make bank transfers instead of simply depositing the ZiG cash into a CBZ account.

What is even more confusing is that if you pay in US dollar cash, it is accepted without any problem, but ZiG cash is being turned away.

What is really happening at the CBZ Masvingo branch regarding the acceptance of ZiG banknotes? If this is an official policy, the bank should explain the reason. If not, the issue needs to be addressed.

PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾 | Good day, Crime Watch. Please help me find these two men.

I am sharing this publicly because I have made no progress since reporting the case to the police. The matter was reported at ZRP Marlborough under CR Ref: 74/06/26.

This is what happened: I was looking to buy a car when a dealer I know, whose dealership is opposite Prince Edward School, called me on a Saturday night. He said he had found someone selling a Honda Fit GP5 for US$6,500. The seller claimed he urgently needed the money because his wife required an operation in Kwekwe, which explained why he was selling the vehicle below market value.

I met the seller, who had the vehicle’s registration book and what appeared to be all the necessary documents. After negotiating, he agreed to my offer. We signed a written agreement of sale containing his details, and I paid US$4,000 as a deposit, with the balance to be paid later.

A few days later, while I was driving the car, I was stopped by representatives from Palm Car Rental, who claimed the vehicle belonged to their company. I later discovered that the “seller” had rented the car for about 10 days, paying the rental fees and deposit in full, before fraudulently selling it to me using forged documents. After the sale, he switched off his phone and disappeared.

We immediately went to ZRP Marlborough to report the matter. That is when I realised I had lost my money. I had seen the registration book, checked the documents, and signed a written agreement, so I believed the transaction was genuine.

These men appear to be experienced fraudsters who carefully plan their scams. This could happen to anyone.

To date, neither of the two men has been located.

Video In The Comments👇🏾 | I need to be honest about something that has been hurting my family for years. In 2020, my father, Admire Madakwa Mapako (48), was shot and kiIIed by armed robbers. More than six years later, no one has been arrested for his murder, despite us providing police with a clear photograph of one of the suspects.

My father was a hardworking family man who was involved in the money-changing business. He also owned a garage on 15th Avenue in Bulawayo, opposite Bossman. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family and was always building a better future for us. Losing him has left a pain that has never gone away, and it hurts even more that we still have no answers.

On 21 February 2020, CCTV cameras at the entrance to our home in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo, captured two men getting out of a vehicle that had followed my father home. One of the men's faces was clearly captured on camera before they left the area. The matter was immediately reported to CID Homicide in Bulawayo, and the CCTV footage was handed over to investigators.

Less than two weeks later, on 6 March 2020, my father was ambushed at Kumalo Continental Lodge. Witnesses said more than six armed robbers approached him. During the attack, one of the suspects shot him before the gang stole about US$80,000 and R20,000 in cash, his pistol, and two cellphones.

On the same day, we again approached the police and reminded them about the CCTV footage that had been reported in February. We gave investigators every detail we had, hoping it would help identify the suspects. We prayed, we waited, and we believed justice would be served.

But today, years later, nothing has happened. We have received no meaningful updates, no one has been held accountable, and our family is still waiting for justice.

We are appealing to Crime Watch and members of the public to help us share the CCTV footage and the photograph of the suspect. Through our own investigations, one of the names that has come up is Dingani. If anyone has information that could assist the investigation, please come forward and report it to the police.

We are also pleading with the ZRP to urgently reopen and actively pursue this case. Our family has waited long enough.

Please help us. The Mapako family simply wants justice and closure.

WATCH | Evening. I would like to register a reckless driving complaint against a Stallion Cruise bus number 82 driver, headed for Victoria Falls last evening (20/07/26). I am a staff member at Sally Mugabe Central Hospital. I was in the turning lane for SMCH by the gate when the bus driver decided to overtake and head for me straight on. I had to evade him to avoid collision. Dashcam footage attached.

PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾 | This woman is the main suspect in the kidnapping of a four-month-old baby from Njube, Bulawayo. The incident happened on 6 June 2026.

According to the family, the suspect entered a house in Njube, took the four-month-old baby, and fled. The baby has been missing ever since, and the woman has not yet been identified.

The family’s only lead at the moment is this CCTV image captured at a local shop in Njube shortly after the kidnapping. The footage shows the suspect passing through the shop with the baby strapped to her back.

We believe someone out there knows this woman. If you recognise her or have any information that could help identify her or locate the missing baby, no matter how small, please contact the baby’s mother, Mitchel Mpofu, on [phone], or report the information to your nearest police station or Njube Police Station.

A U.S. federal judge in LA has a dismissed the $27 million defamation lawsuit brought against comedian Learnmore Jonasi

The frivolous lawsuit was filed by a pesky South African busybody Lebohang "Lebo M" Morake who was annoyed by Jonasi’s Lion King joke.

Jonasi can now sue Lebo for attorney's fees.
