I can understand the Argentina tactics but its proved way too defencive - never give themselves a chance even before the red card & unfortunately it left Messi isolated.
Spain have kept playing & looking for that goal and thoroughly deserve to win this.

@piersmorgan In faurness really do not understand Rice playing he's looked fatigued in last 2 games after illness.
Saka not figured too much as believed carrying injury so why risk.

He is caught between pressing central & trying to cover his left...not a critism, praised for the recovery, but that defencive shape was lost again - where was Guehi going? it happened throughout the tournament, allowing the transition to cause issues.

@BrianEmbleton @itvfootball @England @DjedSpence So he was out of position! Point is the England defence had lost shape during a turnover and with him out of position the space was exploited but his pace allowed that recovery tackle.
