Ahead of the #NtareCrichtonCup this coming Sunday 8th September 2024, here is what you need to know.

Mr. William Crichton (RIP) was a Scottish educator and was the brain behind the founding of Ntare School in 1956 where he served as the First Headmaster Until 1971. He believed in “educating the whole man both academically and through extra curricular activities, especially sports.

"I joined Ntare for A' level. The philosophy of Mr. William Crichton (Headmaster of Ntare) was that each boy had a responsibility to himself and his society. He opined that to put restrictions on a person would prevent the development of their individual ethos. Indeed Ntare has developed some of the most upstanding citizens and it can be traced back to Crichton's "no school rules" policy" ~ @AmamaMbabazi on Facebook May, 2015.

The Ntare Crichton Cup has been organized as a testament to his legacy, a legacy that continues to inspire generations of Lions 🦁
