Taehyung was the mastermind and one of the main songwriters for this track; he shared that he was inspired by a melody that came to his mind on his way back home and turned it into this beautiful song. While the whole group shares credits as an OT7 song, the core foundation and main creation came from Taehyung. Let's give credit where it's due

And for anyone still trying so hard to erase Taehyung, just look at what the BTS members themselves said about the huge part he played in "Into the Sun". You literally cannot argue with BTS:

​Taehyung being his humble self and the members literally reminding everyone that HE wrote the song, that he poured his heart into it so much that he even lost his voice while recording, and that the whole group fell in love with his work. Trying to act like he has no credit here is just pure jealousy, because BTS themselves make sure to loud-praise Taehyung's talent! 🤫🔥
