@SpaceBoy458 Loved this shot. I swear the production designer had to have been inspired by Todd Haynes’ movie Safe with Julianne Moore for the stuff outside of the Backrooms:
@Retrodolphin1 Such a strong debut and gripping experience. People are crying about the plot like Texas Chainsaw Massacre isn’t one of the greatest horror films of all time with virtually no plot or characterization. Lots of people just looking for engagement I think

@ottiebear@BillyOfBagEnd lol what? I’ve seen it and all of those films are good comparatives. Texas Chainsaw is an experiential horror movie that is not heavy on plot, same as the Backrooms. It very confidently creates a vibe and mood that you sit in and it does a very good job of that.
