@justaguy0507 @KaiKai2492 @xShephardx the web constructs work here bcoz of the suspension of disbelief u gain DUE to the ART STYLE. if it was the same art style as Insomniac it wouldnt work. the arms are cool yeah, but its not nearly as versatile as the webs (also they’ve been pretty much done to death at this point)

@justaguy0507 @KaiKai2492 @xShephardx the last time the arms were used in comics was 2023 for Miles Morales and if we’re going to be talking abt comic-booky, the art style is GOING to be a part of it no matter what. the reason the web constructs work as well as they do is DUE to it. it wouldn’t work in Insomiac

@justaguy0507 @KaiKai2492 @xShephardx comic booky meaning ‘straight out of a comic’. the web constructs are very much an earlier thing but are still being used even now just with smaller things, example being the web back pack pete makes a lot to store stuff on patrol, notably used at the start of the Morlun arc.

so there’s some slight misinformation here, though not really their fault - all the enemies in the Electro level other than the purple minions are ALL ONE-SHOT ANYWAY. a better example for the symbiote’s power would’ve been Carnage’s level in the cellblock arena

y’all seem to forget practice ranges and vs AI is only useful for the basic learning, it’s useless after that coz the bots will never be like a real game. The ONLY game where training is actually used more than that is For Honor, and that’s coz the lvl 3 bots are built different
