Today I had a check up with my wonderful surgeon, Miss Deol.👩‍⚕️ It’s quite worrying in the lead up to these appointments but you know that ultimately you are being checked for signs of cancer re-occurrence.

I am over the moon to tell you all that 5 and a half weeks into my stay in India and after 25 fractions, I have just finished my final Proton Beam Therapy session which marks the end of my active treatment! ❤️

I now look forward to my first appointment back in the UK on Tuesday to understand next steps and when I will get the all important NED status (No Evidence of Disease or remission as it’s sometimes called).🤞🏻
