@GarageStrength This would also explain why so many Olympic class skiers come from Scandinavian countries. It's just a much more popular sport there, so a larger portion of athletes from those countries get into cross country skiing.
@basedspinach 100% sure those meters actually take salinity readings, then convert that reading to ppm with a calculation. however this only detects conductive molecules. it wont pick up disolved solids that are non-conductive.
test 2 cups of water, one with salt + one with sugar to verify
