Omg what a session it was last week! We read Stories of Your Life by Ted Chiang. And holy effin god my bros in christ is it mind blowing ??!!!

The movie just simply ends on a poem. Its pretty much like reading a short story. Whereas in a mainstream holly flick involving aliens, you would expect a conflict->climax->resolution. Arrival does not differ from the pack in this aspect, but it is where it differs from the book.

This whole book is a treasure, but this particular in it is just a Gem 💎

Also, this short film by pixar is on similar lines. Give it a watch if you can!
