Football isn't supposed to be about the wealth of the owners. The fact that billionaire owners could arbitrarily choose a club to bankroll to the top, making the competition essentially an ownership lottery, was always a bug rather than a feature. It was regrettably allowed to happen twice before that loophole was rightly closed. Clubs can be ambitious and grow but that growth must be organic, not be funded entirely from outside. That's sporting integrity. That's fair competition.
