All humans, in fact all living beings are born with three universal constants: curiosity to learn, ability to care, and an innate desire to connect. It’s time to think radically different about what we can build based on these 3 universal traits. #careinfrastructure#careeconomy
“Hi! My name is Mommy and I love you!”
When this mom uses a high pitched voice to amuse her baby in the car, it definitely attracts Baby’s interest.
But watch and listen carefully and you’ll find that it’s not the voice, but Mom’s own laughter that cues our hero’s delightful response…elevating the situation from interesting to HILARIOUS.
Another great reminder that your baby looks to you to help interpret the world; studying your emotional state as a barometer for their own.
And what an infectious laugh. I dare you not to laugh along.

Nearly every parent has a smartphone, mostly filled with apps & games for young children. But do those apps really help children grow?
These #LSX2022 experts developed a list of activities that can easily be played with apps on almost any smartphone: https://t.co/XAPzjID5ib
These experts don't advocate banning #screentime for kids.
"In using the maps app and GPS, for example, parents can talk with their children about distance, math, geography, and time: Maybe saying, “How far is it to Grandma’s house?” https://t.co/XAPzjID5ib #LSX2022
Woohoo! We're ready to hear about several two-year long projects from the Fellows of our Learning Science Exchange!
Co-founder @lisaguernsey starts us off describing this event as "unusual collaboration = learning."
You're about to understand why via #LSX2022...
"Children across all walks of life have fantastic potential, but they need so much from educators, schools, and all of us. We need to get science in the hands of all the people in the care of children.
#LSX2022 advances those truths & ideas." - @NewAmerica President Paul Butler
