What makes an author VERY happy? Seeing my book Pulling Through: Help for Families Navigating Life Changing Illness on display, thanks @WstonesEaling ! And is it a sign that I’m placed next to You Deserve to be Rich? I do hope so!

Nature really helped my husband recover from #braininjury and helps me every day as his carer. I absolutely LOVE this little poster inspired by my book! Thank you @NewcombLibrary - I hope it speaks to others too! #CarersWeek@encephalitis@JKPBooks
It’s #carersweek2023 and I’m v excited to be with @NewcombLibrary on a Wednesday. Sharing our experiences honestly is a valuable way to make #carers more visible and valued - one of the reasons for writing my book! Shout out to all my fellow carers - we are superheroes! @JKPBooks
So very pleased to be doing this and looking forward to discussing how both writing and reading about our experiences are a great way to share the stuff that really matters. @JKPBooks#CarersWeek#MentalHealthAwareness

Please retweet this many, many, many times. It's horrific.
@MarinaHyde is so right.
Why isn't this is a huge scandal?
Hundreds of lives ruined. Not a single person held to account. And still: silence on the Post Office scandal | Marina Hyde https://t.co/hiTNKSc699
Thanks so much @KKessack! Resonating with others, feeling “seen” and revealing “me too, this feeling is normal” is exactly what I wanted to achieve. Thanks @JKPBooks for sharing real life experiences in order to help others, and not just publishing “celebs do hospital” memoirs!

I believe that books can help anyone through tough times and I was surprised to find there wasn't one specifically to support families with hospitals and illness. So I wrote it! I hope it reaches anyone who's struggling to cope as a patient, or caring for someone who is ill.
We're proud to have Pulling Through by Catherine Jessop @BooksCanHelp in this year's selection of books.
This means it will be gifted through organisations including prisons, libraries, and hospitals to reach those who don't regularly read!
