@ChenciaCHiggins I have a problem with it all, we have got to stop fighting each other, it happens to much. Yes, if she messaged you, it should have been between yall. I do have a problem with you using the word homophobic, do you know that to be true?

[Books and Soul @Booksandsoul1]

@ChenciaCHiggins I'm trying to understand what went wrong and why are you using the word homophobic, that is hurtful

[Books and Soul @Booksandsoul1]

@ChenciaCHiggins I feel like you could have had a conversation with her instead of taking it to Twitter and calling her homophobic. That word is hurtful in some many ways. She helps the community out so much and I think alot of people forget that.

[Books and Soul @Booksandsoul1]

@ChenciaCHiggins This is getting out of control now. These awards have been going on for a few years if not more and I'm trying to figure out where this is coming from. I know "the founder" did not intentionally leave the category out. This has been advertised since the beginning of January

Tonight the nominations for @BGWW_ lit awards we showcased and what should have been a great experience turned into something that was shouldn't happen, we have got to do better people...
