I agree that authors don’t owe us books... but I think that if you’ve set up a trilogy and there is no sign of the final book after 10 years , surely you should update readers about the progress?

Writing books is hard... writing updates isn’t.

I stopped following insta models and watching TV for a few months and you know what? I put on a new show recently and it felt weird that every. single. character. was. slim. Then I watched it for a bit longer and I didn’t notice anymore.

@megwithbooks I watched a skillshare tutorial that prompted me to write about a setting without any characters which really helped me just start off and build from there. For me starting from the beginning was NOT a good place to start. Just set a timer and write anything and then build ☺️
