@rj_nicklinson @darrengrimes Farmers receive massive subsidies. Upland Sheep Farms receive about £40,000 each here in Wales and about 1/3rd of the meat is exported. And if you think farmers 'look after the countryside', why are they wiping out our insects and birds and ripping hedges to shreds with flails?
