We are back for our March SSAC meeting! The Student Voice and the Mental Health Committees both led group activities. Mr. Jonathan Proctor from Conner High School kicked off our Delegate Assembly leading a discussion about the democratic process. @BCS_Super@Boone_County
January meeting time! We focused on Access & Opportunity this month with a presentation from our A & O committee. We also had an opportunity to ask questions of Dr. Hauswald and special guest Board Chairman Jessie Parks. @BCS_Super@Boone_County
December meeting time! This month we are focusing on mental health & wellness. Deb Zegarra spoke about Ethan’s Purpose and Hope Squad. Our MH &W committee lead a group activity. We had a special visit from a group of therapy dogs to wrap up the meeting! @Boone_County@BCS_Super

It’s SSAC time again! It’s our first meeting of the new school year. September is Mental Health Awareness Month and we had guests from the NKY Health Department visit to get our feedback on the topic. @BCS_Super@Boone_County
Public school students currently in grades 9-11 are invited to apply for positions on the Kentucky Department of Education’s Commissioner’s Student Advisory Council for 2025-2026. The application deadline is April 7.
