Together with Hannes Hornischer, Paul Pritz, Johannes Pritz, @MarcoGMazza , Margarete Boos apply the general principle of option maximization to explain human group coordination: https://t.co/IRDgRzQMn3
In this paper, Margarete Boos and colleagues successfully validate this approach by comparison with data obtained from human experiments. Due to the generality of the principle, this constitutes a promising approach for explaining a wide range of group behavioral
phenomena!

🚨Publication alert 2 🚨
Now in press: @kuk_charlotte, @KathaBernecker, L. von der Heyde, M. Boos & V. Brandstätter found that those who hold #climatechange mitigation as an important personal goal & perceive others as insufficiently cooperative support climate policy more.
They use a combination of exploratory & confirmatory analyses to find this association across 3 samples: in a two-sample (mixed student & community) exploratory study & a pre-registered replication study using an age- and gender-representative sample from the general population.
