If you’re blaming Colson for being thrown out last night, just say you’re a casual that doesn’t actually watch the game
The discourse surrounding this astonishes me #whitesox
@WeinoChi Terrible take.. I’m sorry
Clearly struggled running all game. DH’ing because of shin soreness with two balls hit off your shin in a week??
What are we even doing here?
Every SINGLE person could see Colson hurting when running… HOW TF do you think sending him with TWO outs with Braden coming up was smart?!
I will be stewing for DAYS

Will the White Sox make a move for a starting pitcher ahead of the Trade Deadline?
@jonmorosi mentions Kevin Gausman, Reid Detmers and Clay Holmes as potential names to watch.
We would LOVE to see the White Sox go get Miller👀
White Sox:
RHP Mason Miller (3.5 year control)
UTL Miguel Andujar (Rental)
Padres:
RHP Sean Burke (5.5 years control)
INF Chase Meidroth (6.5 years control)
LHP Hagan Smith (#3)
OF George Wolkow (#11)
OF Sebastian Romero (#17)
Fans have many opinions on what the White Sox should do at the deadline, but what about how the actual clubhouse feels?
@DavidHaugh thinks Chris Getz being an aggressive buyer could be a powerful message, but if there is no activity, it could also be deflating.
“I wouldn’t trade places with the White Sox with any other team in baseball.”
Even the Dodgers?!

As much as I would enjoy Hunter Goodman or Shea Langeliers on the White Sox, I can’t help but feel like they should save their big prospect ammo for starting pitching instead.
It will be interesting to see how they address the catching situation now.
Traded a short stop who finally found his swing at the peak of his career, thus far, value at its peak to continue to restock a farm system that will be needed to be infused with talent as they contend
He would’ve been gone by 41.
Is Landon Thome really so good that it was worth exporting former top-15 pick Jacob Gonzalez for, right as Gonzo was realizing his potential?
I could see if Thome was a can’t-miss prospect, but it feels really nepo-y.
White Sox No. 1 pick Roch Cholowsky on his timeline to reach the majors: "However fast they feel like I'm ready to move up, I trust in. I'm just going to take my time to get there because I want to play there for a long time."

The 2026 season and MLB Draft exemplifies how the culture of the White Sox has shifted.
"You could make a strong argument that this weekend was as significant as any for the White Sox organization since the 2005 World Series," says @DavidHaugh.
I get the confusion behind trading Gonzalez for a comp pick, but the White Sox tried to develop him for 2.5 years with little success. He finally unlocked something this year and took advantage of a hitter-friendly park to get real Minor League production in a short stint before earning his MLB promotion.
Since he’s been up, the batted ball data hasn’t been great. Sure, he’s decent depth. But the max role they could find for him was a platoon 1B.
I don’t think he had as much trade value as Sox fans think he had, and the Sox (who know him better than anyone) saw more value in trading him for a draft pick than keeping him for depth purposes.
I know a lot of you disagree, but I think it makes sense.
