@Yoshio9Hasegawa Second this!
In fact one of the core assumption of the analysis was ‘Independent of each trial’, meaning that trial will not affect the result of any trials following it -> assumes wound table does not exist, as the mere existence of wound table violate this independnece
@Yoshio9Hasegawa I expected this to be a problem at the time of writing, as many people only read the tweet not the paper itself
2 other big limitations i have in this study is:
1/ 14 available pattern is based on anecdotal report from 30+ players
2/ I assume each reset is independent of another
Now if this is true and there are only 9 available patterns, then in all 3 save data, the probability of having each pattern uniformly distributed
Tldr:
If only 9 patterns available for everyone, then equal chance of rolling each for each reset and CAPCOM is GOD
ADDIT:
There have been 2 other people testing x100 resets in their own saves and also only get 9 wound patterns (similar to mine)
The reason why I originally assume there is 14 available patterns is because the other 5 patterns have also veen reported by many players I know
If, in fact, only 9 patterns is available across ALL players. Then the RULE of wound spawn is:
1/ 1 scars out of either head, left wing, right wing
2/ 2 scars out of left leg, right leg, tail
(3, 1) x (3, 2) = 9
Obviously this is highly subjected to recall/reporting bias and i have no way of checking this with my own save
If anyone see patterns including:
1/ x2 legs, tail
2/ head + wing together
Please let me know
@ZX_Zelvis Yeah its such bullshit
Thats why I have been running only freestyle primarily because then the only wound I have to care about is the head wound
@ZX_Zelvis I agree with you 100%
If all 14 patterns are in fact possible, Pretty ridiculous that I only have 9 out of those 14
Hosting a TA event while players have such wound spawn discrepancy is ???
Luckily for CB head is the only wound I care about, but for other weapons ??????
