As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, our Key Club is finishing strong in serving others and living out our mission to Grow and Serve in Christ.
For their final service project of the year, our students are partnering with Marcy’s Project to support children and families right here in St. Charles County. Through donations of clothing, hygiene items, and school supplies, our students are helping meet real needs while showing what it means to lead with compassion and purpose. This is what Servant Leadership looks like at LHS…students stepping up, serving others, and making an impact beyond our walls.
We are focusing on items that directly support kids and families, including:
—Kids clothing (all seasons, gently used – no stains or damage)
—Kids shoes (all seasons, gently used – clean and in good condition)
—Baby equipment and toys (new or gently used with all pieces)
—Bedding items (blankets, sheets, comforters – clean and gently used)
—NEW items only: socks, underwear, diapers, wipes, and hygiene products
—School supplies (backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers)
—Small gifts for children (books, toys, birthday-type items)
Feel free to drop-off the items in the Commons Lobby this week! We invite our LHS community to join us in this effort as we finish the year strong together.

LHS announces the launch of the Ephesians 4:12 Project!
Inspired by our mission to Grow and Serve in Christ, the Ephesians 4:12 Project is made possible by a grant from The Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis.
Focused on two goals:
Spiritual and Academic Growth | Enhance our curriculum with a new Curriculum Coordinator to support our teachers and ensure a rigorous, Christ-centered education.
Expanding Access | For families that qualify, remove financial barriers through short-term tuition assistance and ultimately match donor gifts to offset a student’s financial need.

Spiritual Highlight of the Week
Thank you to Angie Steinbacher, Children's Ministry at Zion Lutheran Church St. Charles for leading Chapel this week!
She shared a powerful message centered on Ephesians 2:8–10 and the theme “Serve the World.” We were reminded that we are saved by grace and, as children of God redeemed through Christ, we are free to serve, give, and love others.
What a meaningful reminder of our purpose—living out our faith in action each day.
Kemp North and Luke Krenning wrapped up their time at the DECA ICDC by attending the Grand Awards Ceremony—and what a finish!
Congratulations to these students for earning the DECA Silver Seal in the Entrepreneurship Team Decision-Making Event!
Not only did they represent LHS on the international stage, but they also made history as our first-ever DECA ICDC qualifiers! We are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and achievement.
Way to go, Kemp and Luke!
