@RobertKennedyJr I actually thought you had sense. I've been reading your ideas for a couple of years but this is absolutely terrible. Now I see why you've joined with Trump. Your just as much a fear monger he is.
After headlines like these, the voucher lobby has been able to all but shut down independent evaluations of emerging voucher systems.
If they believed the results they’re pitching now would be any different, they’d be leaning into the chance for new studies.
@flipflippen Flip I love what you do but you need to do your homework. That wasn't a depiction of the last supper. But of a Dutch painting of a Olympic feast.
Keep asking why billionaires all over Texas & the nation are spending $4/$5/$6 million per House race to defeat pro-#txed incumbents?
HUNDREDS of millions to buy OUR #txlege?
Why???
For poor kids???
NO!!
THEY want to own OUR local schools instead of YOU!
Stop them!! Vote!!!
NEW + really important from @yuriko_a_s@MWatkinsTrib@TexasTribune: An incredibly small number of people decide the outcomes of elections in Texas — and the policies that affect all of us https://t.co/9mbG5VMUrE #txlege
It's beyond me that the Commissioner of Agriculture for Texas would say something like this. Hurts kids? Really? All teachers in this state need to read this.
Over 100 PTC clergy in Fort Worth alone explain why subsidizing private schools with public tax money—vouchers—is wrong.
@GregAbbott_TX vouchers failed #txlege four times. So now he targets State Reps who oppose vouchers for defeat.
Vote them back in the March 5 primary!

Texas ranks 43rd in public school funding.
Texas ranks 45th in child well-being.
Texas has the worst uninsured rate for children.
Texas has high child poverty.
Texas has rising child mortality rates.
But @GovAbbott is obsessed with private school vouchers and NOT our children.
We are entering the "Establish Blame" phase of the #txlege. It appears with vouchers defeated, there was no support to go ahead and pass "the carrots" of school safety and basic allotment increases which would have given raises for teachers.
Ask yourself, who wanted vouchers and tied it to safety and funding, and who then said your salary and safety was a carrot 🥕, and then don't vote for any of those folks or listen to what they say unless they are apologizing for this failure
#txed #txlege
@LtGovTX Obviously they are more in tune to the voters than you are. The heart of true Texans don't want to subsidize the rich and take up that tax burden for such a small group of students.
@LtGovTX Lt. Governor you try to applaud yourself for teacher pay raises. You fail to menthol that bill had vouchers tired to it. When will you learn that the vast majority of real everyday Texans don't want vouchers.
