Katholikos (greek) means universal and that's exactly what Ignatius was referring to. The universal body of believers whose faith, under grace was in Christ alone for salvation. That is the global church. Ignatius never taught about a preeminent institution that had unilateral governance and authority through a papal system. That evolved later (4th century) under the power and influence of the Roman Empire. Context matters.

Over his 4 years with the Eagles, 339 receptions (average of 85 per year), 5,034 yards, 56 TDs, 4 straight years in the playoffs, 2 SB appearances, 1 SB championship, 3 All-Pros, 2 lucrative contracts and an organization that supported him in a major way. I'm sorry but I'm not buying into the "struggle was real" narrative. Was everything perfect? No. But I doubt he will have the success that he had with the Eagles duplicated.

They love money, and so reject Jesus' assertions about the antagonistic relationship between chasing wealth and following God. Jesus points out that this is a problem with their hearts, not the Law. He then gives another example: the callous way in which men divorce their wives.
