Wrote a new blog post in which I sing the praises of the brilliant 'Line Goes Up' video and offer my kind advice to other content creators about how best to refute crypto sophistry.
In Praise of ‘Line Goes Up’

@CNBCTechCheck@jonfortt to me, the solution is simple - Apple needs to add the same checkbox Android has to allow third-party app installations. If users opt to do so, so be it. It shouldn't be Apple's decision what people do with their paid-for devices. Allow a fair app market.
@TidefallCapital@jonfortt The real issue is that if a company doesn't want to list their app on the Android app store, they don't have to. If they don't want to list it on the Apple app store, they're effectively blocked from the device. This wouldn't be legal on Windows or OS X, so why is it okay on iOS?
@jonfortt the FanHouse and Cameo execs literally said they were willing to pay Apple, just from their earnings, not from the total revenue. And NB: the app store argument is a red herring. Android has F-Droid and countless competitors but Apple has prohibited that option entirely
@TidefallCapital@jonfortt They don't pay Android/iOS, they would pay Google/Apple. And if they're only breaking even, maybe the Apple tax should be a flat one? Then they can plan/budget around that. More revenue shouldn't mean more money out the door either.
@jonfortt@CNBCTechCheck Aside from F-Droid, Samsung and Amazon both have third-party app stores on Android. I can at least install another web browser (or whatever app) on Windows or OS X. Why can't I on iOS? Apple can keep their App Store and rules and let people choose something else at the same time.
@jonfortt@CNBCTechCheck Android has an option to allow third-party apps (and therefore third-party app stores). Arguing that consumers shouldn't be able to choose is a losing argument. Why can't iOS have an option to allow consumers to choose to install third-party applications?
@CocaCola I see there are 12 packs of flavors of Vitamin Water Zero available on Amazon Subscribe & Save for $12 but not Revive Zero (or Reset)... such a missed opportunity... add 12 packs of those flavors and you can take my money (and a lot of other customers) *every* month.
@ReformedBroker@jimcramer@michaelsantoli why isn't anyone talking about the forced selling in AAPL once it splits? price-weighted ETFs mimicking the Dow like DIA will dump 75% of holdings after the 4-for-1. how is this not selling pressure?
@netcapital I've sent two e-mails about a wire transfer and heard nothing back... The funds still aren't in my account. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks.
