@BackTheBunny If the fed loans money to the banks to cover for treasures trapped in purgatory, they've in effect paid back the principal i.e. nullified the bonds which were a loan to the Treasury to begin with. So those assets don't exist now, imo. So the fed has just paid off the bank's debt.
