NEW: Video game developer Vince Zampella is deceased after crashing a Ferrari on Southern California's Angeles Crest Highway.
Zampella was the video game developer behind "Call of Duty."
According to the California Highway Patrol, Zampella was driving southbound when he veered off the road after exiting a tunnel, striking a concrete barrier.
Zampella, who was trapped in the car, passed away at the scene, and the passenger, who was ejected, passed away at a hospital.
The car was a 2026 Ferrari 296 GTS, according to NBC Los Angeles.
Zampella was 55 years old.

The incident happened at a funeral in Philadelphia for Benjamin Aviles who passed away in late March.
When the pallbearers were attempting to lower the casket into the ground, the platform collapsed, pulling everyone in.
Aviles' son was trapped with his face in the mud as his father's casket lay on top of him.
Multiple pallbearers were hurt, including injuries to their legs, hands, and back.
