@hankgreen Um... Visits. I know people wanted to check in on me, but I'd feel like I had to play host or interact the whole time when all I wanted to do was disassociate, or escape into a book, game, or show. Short visits (half hour or less) were ok, but longer was exhausting.

@hankgreen My mom rented a recliner for me to help me get up and down after surgery. Slept in it a few nights too. Someone got me a "sticker by number" book which was just enough to keep my mind busy without being too draining. Several people sent me books.

In other frustrating things: got told that my instructions were not clear enough. The relevant information was at the top of the third slide. This was not a failure on my part, but a failure to actually READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.
