I feel a little bit guilty for my ranting and raving on Oscar night. I try to avoid mean spiritedness here because it’s a turn off for me. Frankly I blame the over ginned gin and tonics I was drinking thanks to a misread online recipe.

So sad to lose Albert Finney. He was a real rock and roller of an actor. My favorite kind. No vanity or punches pulled in his performances. Just commitment to character and truth. He could play it all. 5 Oscar nominations and he never attended! RIP to a giant of stage and screen.

That #PetSematary trailer is pretty dang good. I wasn’t especially psyched for it before but I’m getting there. Looks gritty and grounded. The suggested plot change doesn’t particularly rattle me. Mostly just pumped to see Amy Seimetz getting more choice roles in bigger films.
