The Old Blue Last, Shoreditch, was built in 1700 as The Last on the site of what had been James Burbage's Theatre. In 1876 Truman's took over and rebuilt the pub. But by the 1970's it was being used as a brothel. Since 2004, it has been a pub/music venue. #boozer @theoldbluelast

Back at London fave, The Grenadier in Belgravia. @GrenadierPub was built in 1720 as the officer's mess for the 1st regiment of foot guards. A tiny pub with a pewter bar, it is hidden down a cobbled mews near Hyde Park.
