Gospel of the Day (Luke 10,38-42)
Jesus entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.
She had a sister named Mary who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.
Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help me."
The Lord said to her in reply, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her."

Like Martha, we may be “anxious and worried about many things.” So, Jesus invites us to sit as his feet. Time spent in prayer - speaking and listening to the Lord - will lessen our anxiety. Perhaps Jesus is telling you today to focus less on the “doing” and more on the “being.”
Gospel of the Day (Matthew 18,1-5.10)
"Unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me - Matthew 18 #Gospel#Jesus
@oriontsx@BaT_MaN_23 Jesus is not a fake god. He is a historical figure with strong contemporary attestation, claimed divinity through resurrection accounts that launched the world's largest religion, and stands apart from the purely mythological figures in that image.
Pope Leo XIV leads 35,000 faithful in chanting the Our Father in Latin during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the Cathedral of Saint-Etienne in Metz.
Invoking the name of God to legitimize violence or oppression constitutes a profanation of His name. Nothing that violates human dignity can claim authentic divine inspiration. Religious discourse must constantly call for hearts and words to be disarmed. #ApostolicJourney#France https://t.co/f5Q6CnXQZS
Our Lady of Lourdes, the Immaculate Conception, Mother full of love, we entrust to you our most urgent personal intentions, especially those of the sick and suffering. We entrust to you our living and deceased loved ones. We pray that you will remove all the obstacles that still separate us from your beloved Son. May He may reign in all hearts. Amen. #ApostolicJourney #France
It was one of the most moving moments of Pope Leo XIV’s Prayer Vigil with young people at the Stade de France.
Hundreds of actors represented France’s more than 1,700 saints and blesseds, creating a striking image of a true “army of holiness.”
Pope Leo XIV was deeply moved and, in a moment that touched everyone present, even wiped away a tear.
The moment culminated in a grand fireworks celebration.

Friends, Fulton Sheen was a fierce voice against communism, recognizing its threat and its essential atheism. He would be deeply troubled by its comeback in our country.
While in St. Louis, I shared with Fox why we need that voice again today. Read it below:
On Sept. 23, the Catholic Church remembers the Italian Franciscan priest St. Pio of Petrelcina, better known as “Padre Pio” and known for his suffering, humility and miracles.
Born Francesco Forgione in 1887 in southern Italy, he served as an altar boy and, at age twelve, received the call to serve God. He entered the Capuchin Order as a teenager and was ordained a priest in 1910.
During his life, Padre Pio had many mystical experiences, including receiving the stigmata in 1918. These wounds, which resemble those of Jesus’ Crucifixion, remained with him for 50 years. Seeking to avoid attention to himself, he often wore gloves to cover them.
He was able to “read souls” and often gave favors or healings before they were asked of him. He spent long hours each day hearing confessions, offering counsel, and guiding penitents with clarity and compassion. The saint was also reported to levitate, bilocate, receive heavenly visions, and communicate with angels.
Padre Pio was often misunderstood. Church authorities carefully examined his life, his mystical experiences, and his activities. Throughout these trials, he remained obedient and faithful, accepting whatever was asked of him without complaint. As public attention surrounding him grew, his priestly duties were restricted.
St. Padre Pio died on September 23, 1968, and was canonized in 2002. He is remembered as a holy priest who, in humble obedience, surrendered his sufferings to Christ. Today, many pilgrims visit his shrine in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy. Many miracles have been attributed to his intercession.
