NOTE: the trail is Closed to the public and not operational yet whilst work is ongoing.
Please keep off the Greenway till we make it safe and repair the damage.
The public are also reminded the Greenway continues to be closed during construction.

Section 1b Greensfield to Rugley Bridge now completed. Section 1c will take us to the boundary with the Freemen of Alnwick’s land. Last year they promised publicly to improve their section of the former railway line and make it accessible to the public.

Even though the trail is not operational yet, the trail incurs mandatory daily expenses such as insurance, plus Solicitors fees, charges for ecology surveys and planning applications etc…
