To all the Borders Employees: I hope I made you smile or made your liquidation a little easier at times. You're the best!

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

My store has officially closed. Thanks to all the incredible booksellers past and present and all the loyal customers over the years.

Catharsis, thy name is Kobo. I think I can leave at peace now. This was for all the booksellers! LOL! http://t.co/ROg2TnU

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

A child just threw a hardcover book at me and her mom called her silly. I punched the kid in the face and screamed "I'm silly too!" LOL

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

I finally got to tell a stupid person talking on her phone at the register that SHE was the rude one! A cashiers dream finally realized! LOL

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Got our 10 days left notice. Time to start writing 'for a good time call' & my enemies phone numbers on page 50 of all the rest of the books

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Woman: I don't want this. Its cheaper online
Me: thats why we're going out of business
Woman: I am buying books NOW, so I'm not the problem!

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Liquidation Customers: The daydream of every Borders employee usually involves your violent death! Haha, its because you're assholes! LOL!

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

At this point in the sale, the people coming in don't necessarily READ books so much as ARE FUCKING TERRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS, am I right? LOL!!

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

The store's starting to look empty. Luckily I still have 128 copies of Glenn Becks "Broke" to fill the shelves! ME TOO, GLENN! ME TOO! LOL!

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Sorry I haven't been tweeting too much you guys! Just trying to not slit my own wrists or stab people who tell me I deserve to close! LOLOL!

[nikki @tricky_kilvento]

Our liquidator quit you guys!!!!! #borders #liquidation @Bordersemployee

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

People bitching about how the bookstore is closing > People who actually shopped in the bookstore before it was closing

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Thanks @OliviaHennis and @acookandherbook for the #FF!

[Valarie @Z3nyatta]

@Bordersemployee So @Borders retweeted a comment by some asshole about how Amazon was still cheaper even with the discounts! Really??

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Got a call today asking if we were already closed. Did my best spooky voice and told the lady WE WERE NEVER OPEN! Oooooo! LOL, she loved it!

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]

Been off for a few days, but I worked today & a lady said I was a piece of shit for closing my store! Seems like I didn't miss anything! LOL

[Borders Bookseller @Bordersemployee]
