You may be thinking, I only have a bad cough, it'll go away soon. Wrong! You can still be infected without the "Whoop" noise after a cough.

The vaccines DTap and Tdap will never stop me from sharing my amazing cough. #imunstopable #youcantstopme

If your thinking antibiotics are going to get rid of me, you're probably too late for them to work.

Guess what just happened! I was trying to get comfortable in my new home and this guy just started to cough and then fell. Watch this!⬇️

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

Hey guys! Guess what? I found a new home🙂. Last week I was living in the nose of this Rachael girl, but now I'm living in this guys throat.

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

They call me an Exotoxin because I can release my toxin through just one living bacterial cell that is near me.

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

In case some of you are wondering what I really look like. I'm just your normal Bacilli bacteria.

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

You might be wondering, how and when did I get this horrible cough? Think back to 2 weeks ago when your Aunt Katherine had "bad allergies".

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

You may just think that you have allergies or a cold. You will know it's me when you are having multiple coughing spells that will hurt you.

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

My Gram-Stain may look like your grandma just split cranberry juice everywhere. The 1 difference is that mine can live in harsh environments.

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

Don't worry I won't hurt your fluffy companions, but you will have to watch your own back. #catchmeandcoughforever

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

You may think that I won't infected you cause you've been vaccinated, but I can still infected you.

[Bordetella Pertussis @BordetellaPert]

I'm such a sneaky disease that there was 32,971 cases in 2014, even though they have tried to get rid of me since I was discovered in 1906.
