Been away from Magic for years. The last time I was a regular at the LGS guild gates had just come out.

The Avatar set caught my attention. I hadn’t realized, though, how bad the UB sets had gotten.

That was one of the reasons I stopped, along with life in the way. Too many card released too often. Couldn’t keep up.

But I love the game, I’ve played since I was 9. Now, I’m coming back to the game and shooting for it. I’ll bring you every step of the way to digging through my paper cards to unlocking the secrets on Arena.

Paradigm is a bullshit mechanic

Countersculpt is a solid card to run even if you aren't playing Jace in general.

It costs the same as cancel if you don't have a Jace.

If the first one resolves, you get a Jace and the rest of them are Counterspell cheap.

Jace token is a target to get the heat off your life total.

No reason to not run it in place of other 3 mana counters.
