What exactly has Chimsom Chuka done to deserve this?

His only “crime” seems to be that he was raised by hardworking parents who taught their children good morals, discipline, confidence and the value of hard work.

If you have genuinely watched this show, you cannot deny how hard this boy has worked to earn his place in Biggy’s house. He has competed, participated, entertained, contributed and consistently given his best. Since when did being goal-driven, competitive and ambitious become a crime?

And more importantly, is being Igbo now a crime?

We keep preaching togetherness, unity and oneness as Nigerians, yet we are watching people attack a young man because of his identity and where he comes from. That is deeply disturbing.

@BBNaija, this needs to be addressed. Big Brother Naija is watched by millions of Nigerians from different backgrounds. It should be a platform where talent, personality and entertainment are celebrated. not one where tribal sentiments are allowed to overshadow a housemate’s journey.

Being hardworking is not a crime.
Being goal-driven is not a crime.
Being ambitious is not a crime.
Being Igbo is certainly not a crime.
