As said by the authorities of the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council 15days ago, the second round of internship counseling will be conducted soon and will be finished in July.
However, no official notice has been released in the past 15 days. This delay is deeply unfair to FMGs who have already been waiting for six months to begin their internship. Further postponement may jeopardize their eligibility for NEET PG 2026. Once the FMG students have passed the tough screening exam, the delay and uncertainity in internship affects their morale as well as jeopardises their NEETPG prep. Fixed dates and calendars for internship allotment for each exam passing candidates nationwide should be made, so that this every year problem of uncertainity is not there. Transparency in the system is the need of the hour along with swift resolution of current issues #FMGinternshipCrisis
