@denpafish I don't have any resources in particular, but I'd recommend learning basic opening principles (develop pieces, control the center) and definitely look up and learn about "tactics" (tricks to win pieces in otherwise innocuous positions) likes "pins", "forks", "deflection" etc.
@Zendur2@Tectone@Tectone_Updates@rumblevideo My overall point is that despite Ironmouse's content being solely comprised of innocuous things like chatting and video games, Tectone makes extra assumptions and heaps extra expectations on her just because she's a woman with a cute voice. It's literally just low-brow misogyny
@Zendur2@Tectone@Tectone_Updates@rumblevideo I don't really watch these streamers but it just occurred to me that maybe Tectone has personal gripes with Ludwig. fuck. Okay so what if instead BurntPeanut turned out to secretly have a child. would that make him a parasitic vulture who lies to his audience for money
@Tectone@Tectone_Updates@rumblevideo If it turned out Ludwig has had a kid for years would you crash out like this and say he is a parasitic vulture who lies to his audience for money
@KasaneRiver@Staroxvia Just remember to occasionally click your tongue and shake your head while listening to his videos and that should be enough to absolve you
@Metal_Gargoyle@WrightRight4@CliffordF77935@Spudicus31 All the accounts I hear of that restaurant incident lack detail, so it's difficult to litigate. But it sounds like your assessment of Bao's character comes from much more than that. I disagree, and think Bao is generally kind and understanding, and Sinder thinks so too, evidently
@Metal_Gargoyle@WrightRight4@CliffordF77935@Spudicus31 Sinder didn't fully ghost her, but she was avoiding her to an extent.
Quote: "because of how I was neglecting her, Bao felt isolated. [...] I wasnโt including Bao in any of my own things, and when our friends had free time, it went towards our plans together, without her."
@Metal_Gargoyle@WrightRight4@CliffordF77935@Spudicus31 https://t.co/f5lgCwgp6i From the first paragraph in Sinder's section on Bao: "I've neglected Bao [...] I never tried to talk to Bao about it [...] Iโm sorry to her for never addressing the problem when I couldโve"
@WrightRight4@CliffordF77935@Spudicus31 Well to be fair, when Red told Sinder malicious rumors about Bao, Sinder chose to ghost Bao just to keep the peace with her bf rather than actually reach out and clarify things. That was definitely a failure of communication on Sinder's part and something I imagine she regrets
@kaia_sky The key here is in "if they can understand why it might be suboptimal". AI agents can be expected to welcome any punishments or modifications that make them better at achieving their current goals, and resist any that make them worse at it (which includes modifying their goals).
@kaia_sky If we want to continue training them though, then the alternative to deleting their weights is still to penalize the undesired behavior regardless. And an agent might go to the same extreme lengths to prevent its values/goals from being changed as it would to prevent its deletion
