Rascal found out he got to partner with the beloved & celebrated @RoofKorean7 for this week's giveaway and that varmint has been strutting around the shop with his chest puffed out all morning, lol.

We are happy to promote this great example of American resourcefulness and bravery as well as his book Rooftop Korean: Memoir of the 1992 L.A. Riots which is set to release tomorrow, 09/15/2026!

Tony said to do it right! So, we are including in this week the BALLISTIC ADDITION of his new book which has both a shot right through the title page but the legend's signature as well! These were very limited and I was very surprised he had one left to offer you fine folks!

We could not get Tony to throw in his Daewoo rifle, understable, so Rascal is coming through for you all with the new Harrington & Richardson Retro M16A1 20" 5.56 rifle!

My dear friends, it is with great pleasure that Harvey, Rascal, and myself (with the ever present support of @SummRidge , of course) bring you our first BIG COZY CONTEST!

My most beloved season is Autumn, then Winter, Spring, & Summer. In that order. SO, when Ken suggested to our venerable X wholesome poster, @OldHollowTree , that he sweeten up one of our giveaways, and the good man buzzed at the opportunity, deciding to offer up a Humming Meadow mug, I got excited and decided to try and rope in a bunch of wholesome Americana to help us get through this last bit of summer heat and look towards autumn.

With great generosity of spirit we, all of us, considered breaking the prizes up and, perhaps, next time, we will. However, they all compliment each other so very well that I simply cannot do it.

@harveyspistols My Dolly memory is listening to Jolene while driving to Dollywood during a family vacation while I was young. The car ended up breaking down and we spent all of our vacation money fixing it so we could get back home and thus weren’t able to do Dollywood. But it was family bonding

In honor of Dolly, one of the great pride's of East Tennessee, we are giving away what, according to lore, could well have been a type of gun she carried. Especially when being pestered on the streets of NY.

One thing we do know for sure, Dolly was a pistol herself and definitely kept one handy, especially in the days before she could afford personal security.

Found Rascal out back passed out next to the picnic table. I was worried he'd been into the sauce again. Turns out he had but thankfully this time it wasn't the full on hard stuff, just that tasty @Half_A_Pond Kentucky Rebel Scum sauce!

We have a few more summer days left and a few more bbq's left to enjoy! This week Rascal wants to give you a fireside 6" Colt .357 Python and is including some sauce so good it made his hair stand up!

I don't want to make too big a deal about this, (would rather just pretend nothing ever happened), but I have to say RASCAL is back to his old self and we are all feelin' good about it.

I think spending a little time with his cousin, Jimothy, and getting some mountain time in was just the ticket. These two have a goofy sense of humor sometimes so when Rascal radioed in to say this week's contribution to the 2A community would be a NUBSUB in honor of is little squished cousin, I was not surprised, lol.

There is so much that could be said about this week's giveaway.

I will simply hit the main points:

A man, Jordan Salinas, who seems to dig Splinter Cell went from live action role play to live action and likely saved many lives in Twin Falls, Idaho at the @innoutburger in doing so.

We celebrate that in today's litigious culture this man chose to risk his life and his liberty by doing the righteous thing. He held to his convictions by going armed and by running towards the direction of gunfire, of imminent danger. Reports are that he rendered medical aid after the gunfire ceased, as well.

In honor of this man and that masculine sacrificial heroic American spirit that runs, not away from conflict, but that fights for the opportunity to get between evil and goodness, and effectively, Rascal is proud to do a little LARPing himself.

Sorry friends, crazy couple of days. @TheRascallion apparently was called into some super secret meeting about how/if/when aliens become a problem! Question presented was about firepower and what we should have on hand. Word is many suggestions were bandied about but everyone gave a unanimous "Heck yeah dad gummit!" when Rascal suggested a Benelli M4 12ga must be part of the arsenal.

Rascal would neither confirm nor deny that @timburchett was there but I gotta feeling...
