VoidZero is joining Cloudflare.
Our mission stays the same: to make JavaScript developers more productive than ever before. Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+ remain MIT-licensed. Evan and the VoidZero team will continue leading them.
Cloudflare shares our commitment to open source. Together, we can keep investing in the tooling developers rely on every day, while bringing the Vite ecosystem and Cloudflare’s platform even closer together.
with https://t.co/0hvxan68qz I discovered the cloud resource is the atomic unit for self-operating software
I'm treating each cloud function, container, database, etc. as a single unit and I built agents to continuously watch every data point the resource emits, from logs to traces, metrics, but also audit logs, deployment history, etc.
as a result, the native observability tool for each cloud becomes extremely powerful as it already collects metrics for all resources by default, and makes correlation easier for the agent
I did not expect liking cloudwatch in 2026
i wrote a post about the growing divide between AI skeptics and AI enthusiasts.
wins and costs are both real, but too often fall on different groups of people. when you're only experiencing half the story, it's too easy to write each other off.

we have magic boxes to produce pretty much any piece of software we can come up with
yet it feels like everybody is approaching problems through the exact same lens
building my own harness was simultaneously the best and the worst technical decision ever
best because I can steer it any direction without any constraint
worst because I have to build compaction myself
@rough__sea it actually looks very similar to claw patrol, but it's homegrown and it uses code mode
the agent never sees the credentials, and there's a llm judge that gates potentially destructive actions
