Initial take aways of #SchremsII decision in order of immediate impact:
💥#PrivacyShield invalidated so unlawful to legitimise 🇪🇺&🇬🇧data transfers to 🇺🇸
💥Data exporters & importers using #SCC must verify protection in 3rd country first.
💥DPAs must now focus on data transfers.

#SchremsII So companies relying on #PrivacyShield get to relive the 2015 joy of scrambling for alternatives😀while SCCs still face an uncertain future and companies have to judge case by case. We need to figure this out globally to avoid completely fragmented digital world.
