मोदी सरकार ने अरावली पर्वतमाला को लेकर एक नई परभाषा जारी की है, जिसके तहत 100 मीटर से नीचे की पहाड़ियों में खनन किया जा सकता है।

• इस नए मानक से 90% से अधिक अरावली क्षेत्र तबाह हो जाएगा, जो पर्यावरण के लिए बेहद खतरनाक होगा

• पर्यावरण विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि इस नई परिभाषा से NCR में अरावली का अस्तित्व ख़त्म हो जाएगा

हम सब जानते हैं कि इस नियम का फायदा नरेंद्र मोदी के दोस्त अडानी को मिलेगा। पहले भी बिहार, छत्तीसगढ़ और मध्य प्रदेश में अडानी के लिए नियमों को ताक पर रखकर- 'जल, जंगल, जमीन' बर्बाद कर दिए गए हैं।

नरेंद्र मोदी अपने दोस्त को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए सारी हदें पार कर रहे हैं।

Our ASHA sisters have been fighting for what ought to be their right -to be recognised as permanent employees. They are the backbone of the rural healthcare system; frontline workers who brave every adversity to serve millions of Indians. Despite the vast scope of their work and the long hours demanded of them, Prime Minister Modi’s government refuses to recognise them as legitimate employees.

In response to my question in parliament on whether the centre plans to recognise ASHA workers as formal employees and offer them social security, the government merely reiterated that they are ‘volunteers’. This is a grave injustice. They serve society for over 40 hours a week and all they get are honorariums that are way below the minimum wage. The women of India deserve more respect than this.

I urge the government to regularise ASHA workers and assure them the respect and dignity that is rightfully owed to them.
